Summer Vacation? Not at Trinity!!!!

Ok, I'm not saying you CAN'T take a vacation – but please know that just because it's summer, things don't stop here at Trinity.

First of all, our shared worship experience for the summer is really exciting! It’s so good to see everyone together at the one 9 am service. We will continue to try to vary the music and style of worship, building on the Traditional Service from the Lutheran Book of Worship, but making it as accessible as possible for all.

Other Events for July:

New Member Class: On Sunday, July 16th at 2 pm we will offer a one-afternoon introduction to the Lutheran faith and to life and ministry at Trinity. We’ll conclude the afternoon with dinner provided by Trinity. We have several people signed up to take the class – please let me know if you’re interested! We’d love to have you.

Jonathan Becker/Kristy Rutherford Wedding: It’s finally here – July 8th at 3 pm here at Trinity, and we would truly like to share this event with the congregation. You all have been a part of the lives of my children over the past nearly 12 years, and we’d like to share this wonderful event with you all. There will be a cake reception in the AMC and courtyard following the service, and we’d truly like to see you all there!

Habitat for Humanity Thank You BBQ at 1st Lutheran, Torrance: All who have worked on the current site, provided meals, or who have helped financially support the project are invited to attend this BBQ. Please see Pastor Becker or Bob Johnson for details.

Getty Villa Trip: There are still several openings available for this fun day at the Getty Villa on July 22nd. Further details are listed in the Caller. Fellowship opportunities are always great at Trinity!

What a joy it is to serve with you here at Trinity! Blessings on a wonderful and joy-filled summer.
